Brecht Vandenbroucke

More funnies from Brecht Vandenbroucke. I don't even give a f'n take that these comics are hilarious, I just really love the artwork here. I wish I took an art history class in college just so I could try to talk about the colors and mood here, and maybe how it makes me feel.
I also wish his name was easier to type into Google.

Superpoop

OK we're breaking some WorryArt rules; these aren't comics or pieces of 'art', but Superpoop does kind of have a 3 frame comic feel to them. And besides, they are done by that Jeff guy who writes Toothpaste for Dinner. Also, we checked Google Analytics today and realized we've only had 10 visitors to this site in the past two months so we don't care (nor does anyone else) what goes on this site. And then we realized that we've checked this site way more than 10 times in the past month, so we were all superpoop because we can't even manage to bump our own blog hits. Superpoop

Natayla Lobanova

Remember when you were like twelve years old, and you first found out that you were going to die? And that would be it. You'd be dead. Like forever. And you hit some kind of existential reawakening, and other things in life, small things like social studies homework and the Simpsons just didn't matter. The only thing I care about right now is seeing Lobanova's next comic.

Jeff Hamada

A few years ago, a friend and I caught the last 10 minutes of The Last Samurai on TV. In those remaining minutes, my friend became quickly captivated with the story and began whole heartedly weeping on my couch. I was very amused, but in between breaths he told me I just didn't get it. I never did.

When I saw this artwork at Hot Art Wet City  in Vancouver  a few years later I was comforted. I read this Cruise piece about 15 times, laughing harder each time. It was even more years later that I found out by coincidence that it was done by Jeff Hamada, who runs Booooooom. I've been ripping Art+Humour gags off Boooooom for years now.

If you haven't seen Booooooooooooooooooooooooom before, then welcome to planet earth.

Hannah Richards

If you spell "Hannah Richards" backwards you get "Hilarious Hannah" and if you read her gag's backwards they are sad. Her website is like a personal DropBox of everything funny on the internet. It reminds me of a McDonald's playroom - colorful, fun, and hard to find my way out of.

Jerry Moriarty

I was at Lucky's the other day going through some heavies, and came across these lewd beauties done by Jerry Moriarty. Stylish, sensual and funny. I don't know much about the guy, but I think these paintings date back to the 60's. He also apparently does comics, which I haven't seen before.
Check out http://lambiek.net/artists/m/moriarty_jerry.htm to learn more about him than me. I went to the site to look more up(skirt) but couldn't find much.

FlopHouse Gallery

We usually try to avoid posting uninspiring or humorless drivel, for the sake of everyone’s eyeballs and gyrus-matter. But we’re friends with this kid’s older cousin, and he’s kept emailing us to post some of his goop.

If you don’t value your time, go ahead and check out his latest work :“If I could paint, I’d paint things kind of like this.”
