Kaye Blegvad

Oh poops. The last comic didn't properly load. You'll have to visit Kaye's website (http://kayeblegvad.com/) to find more poopy.  It has that darkfunny macabre edge that Royal Art Lodge does so well, but in my professional opinion I prefer her artwork. Make sure you check out Kaye's 3D trove of treasures.

Joris Goulenok

Bullies
1v1

2v1
3v1

4v1

These bully cartoons, read in order with the caption, really pulled my laugh strings. I can't put my fist on why. The images alone are not funny. But the simple caption is doing some heavy lifting.  Find more fistful of laughs on Joris' flicker page

Bruce Eric Kaplan

Odd factoid. Bruce Kaplan, executive producer of Six Feet Under, wrote the "Pig Suggestion Box" Seinfeld episode poking fun at the New Yorkers inscrutable cartoons - which BEK himself has been contributing cartoons to frequently over the last decade or so.
He also has a new book coming out "Everything is going to be O.K."

Diane Barcelowsky

These tableuas looks like they were recovered from the lower cubby-hole of a grade six art room. I can clearly remember kneeling over the light-bleached milky rolls with a fat pack of felt pens. Dianes still doing it. And she's also twisted and funnny.

My New Filing Technique Is Unstoppable

A anonymous friend put me on to My New Filing Technique Is Unstoppable (MNFTIU). What is MNFTIU? Imagine if 'Married to the Sea' divorced the sea and then remarried Rex Morgan, but cheated on him with something else from the Saturday morning comics, like Overboard but funny. Yeah, that's it.

There are many goodies on Rees' webpage - most notably Get Your War On. Get your MNFTIU on @ http://www.mnftiu.cc/

Timothy Hunt

[Title: Tears]

[Title: Escape]

I had to sit down with one of my friends that I consider funny to help me understand the humor behind these paintings. After some fifteen minute tangential spew on the institutionalization of marriage and man's escape and unconscious desire for 'returning to the womb' he finally admitted he had just read some review on Ridley Scott's "Alien" and had absolutely no idea what the hell these paintings were about either

Brecht Vandenbroucke

[No Line-ups]

When I saw Brecht's work it instantly reminded me of some iconic New Yorker cover pieces. So I googled 'brecht vandenbroucke new yorker' to see for myself if he's responsible for any of this funniness. The first hit I got was Juxtapoz Magazine's telling of the same comparison/resemblance. This post seems very contrived now.

Apokolips

Hmm the Rook doesn't look like it's at a right angle to the Queen, and robots don't really have tattoo-able skin, and envelops can't talk, nor too, for that matter, do Hungry Hippos... I guess you kind of have to stretch your imagination for this webcomic. Apokolips updates their page every "Monday and Thursday" which might be slang for every few months. The apokolips is coming soon....

If you have 241543903 minutes to spare, stick your head in the freezer and read the saga "Forming".
I think this guy may or may not write comics for Vice...
